Greetings . . . this certificate is really strange! Check out the American Indian weaving a blanket with the US Army woven in it while bombs are exploding. The bombs in Operation Redwing are all named after American Indian Tribes: Lacrosse, Cherokee, Zuni, Yuma, Erie, Seminole, Flathead, Blackfoot, Kickapoo, Osage, Inca, Dakota, Mohawk, Apache, Navajo, Tewa, and Huron.
Redwing was the second U.S. test series devoted primarily to proving thermonuclear designs of actual weapons. While Castle had demonstrated heavy, conservatively designed, first generation weapons, Redwing centered on testing a broad variety of new innovative second generation designs. Both Bikini and Eniwetok atolls were used to produce this series of bombs between May through July 1956.
I would like to know what Native Americans think about this.
